Quilting Classes

River Rose is excited to offer classes - from experienced quilters to beginners, we hope to have something for everyone. Limited class sizes to ensure low teacher student ratios.

To sign up, please visit River Rose in person to pay for your first session via cash or check. Please make the check payable to the instructor. If you have any questions, please give us a call 334-478-4203.

Quilting with Adrienne Bolan

5 sessions

Beginning June 24th on Fridays 2-4pm

Fee: $20 per class, plus supplies

Adrienne will teach students about quilt supplies, fabric cutting, sewing pieces, quilting, and binding.

Learn how to:

Cut fabric with a rotary cutter and ruler
Piece your quilt top
Baste a quilt sandwich
Quilt with your walking foot
Use your machine to bind your quilt
Take care of your quilt for years to come

Supply List

Please purchase all supplies prior to the first session. Only fabric will be available for purchase at River Rose.

fabric - 45" wide cotton

3/4 yd bright vibrant fabric

3/4 yd light/pale fabric

16-20 corresponding colors 1/4 yd each

1 yds for binding

3 1/2 yards for backing
